Aussies urged to take all that sh*t off their 4WDs they never use to save fuel

The Labor Government has said what everyone has been thinking for decades in Australia: it’s time for 4WD owning weekend warriors to get a fkn grip and take that shit off their god damn cars.

While this is generally good advice it is also specific to the current fuel crisis. We spoke to a fuel expert who said the average BCF’ing tool was costing themselves thousands a year with unnecessary weight on their “rigs”, adding,

“Come on Daryl, you haven’t used your snorkel and MaxTrax ever and the last time you put up the Kings Awning you injured your wife and had to spend the long weekend waiting at RPH to get her eye seen to, just let it go, give up the dream”

Not only are Aussies being asked to strip all the unused gear from their 4WD they are also being urged to wash that winery dirt off their cars, as it all adds to the overall weight, no matter how minimal.

Naturally, not everyone is keen on the measure. We spoke to a 300 Series owner who said he will literally NEVER remove a single piece of equipment from his car. Adding,

“How else will people know I’m a capable and manly outdoorsman? Sorry, not an option, plus I can afford a 300 Series, do you think I care about fuel costs? I’d sell my kids kidney just so other men look at me with respect in the Bunnings car park”

That checks out to be honest.
