Blow for Flagmantle as Mason Cox drafted to America

Flagmantle’s 3 ruck dream has hit a major snag after new recruit Mason Cox was drafted to America pursuant to new laws enacted by their desperate president.

While all men aged 19-26 were automatically registered for the draft, anyone showing “exceptional physical prowess” could be drafted pursuant to the whims of the American army.

Sadly, for big Mason, an AFL grade athlete was just too precious for the US to give up. Even more unfortunately, the US draft trumps the AFL draft.

A top US conscription expert told The Times that with a bit of luck, Mason could be available to play finals. Adding,

“We expect Trump to end this war once his approval ratings plummet even further. Most people think it won’t last past September so Cox should be ready to lace up and be involved in Flagmantle’s historic 2026 Premiership victory”

It’s an even bigger blow for Flagmantle given their current ruckman’s injury prone run. However, we understand Flagmantle is in negotiations for a sort of athlete trade.

With many hoping Bryce Cotton will be offered up as compensation.

More to come.
