A local couple have treated themselves to a bit of respite from the winter cold today by opting to leave their house and stand outside where it was several degrees warmer.
See, Dan & Anna are two of thousands of Westralians that live in houses so poorly insulated they resemble a morgue in winter.
We spoke to Dan who was warming his hands up in the light rainfall, adding,
“We have the heater blaring and it’s still farken freezing, what is wrong with buidlers in this state? Is it even insulated at all?”
Anna shared the sentiment and added that she had to sit around her outdoor setting last night to get warm enough to be sure she could fall asleep inside. She told The Times,
“We are living in a fridge I swear, I asked the landlord if they’d consider some heating options but they laughed and said there were a thousand people willing to live in a freezer if we don’t like it”
It’s good to know we are all in this together.
