Cricket Australia launches urgent GoFundMe after another 2 day test leaves them in financial ruin

Times are tough over at Cricket Australia as another 2 day test match has cost the organisation an estimated $10,000,000 clams. The second financial blow for the summer.

To help recover from the impending financial ruin, CA has launched a GoFundMe begging members of the public to chip in to keep them afloat.

They are also looking at the legality of banning England playing test match cricket for a while. Although, this may be fiercely contested after England won a who-gives-a-shit match to still not get any closer to holding the Ashes.

A spokesperson for CA told The Times,

“Summer of Cricket hasn’t been fruitful and if we’re honest we’re flat broke. We didn’t even remember to take out short-test-insurance so yeah, we are putting our future in the hands of the adoring public. Everyone loves Cricket Australia, right?”

Unsurprisingly the fundraiser hasn’t picked up steam in the west. With many in WA still dirty at Cricket Australia for their constant acts of disrespect against the great state.

Let’s see if their beloved NSW bails them out of this one.
