Oofff, the mighty Geelong Cats have found themselves caught in a farm-trance on their way to Norwood oval this morning.
Despite clearly putting in the correct address into the team bus GPS, the team found themselves drifting towards the available farming land surrounding Barossa Park.
Most on the bus can’t explain how they got there but once there they were absolutely salivating. We spoke to a local Adelaide hick who witnessed the scene, he told The Times,
“A few of them were bricked up. This is some really nice farming land and you know how those Geelong boys like their farms”
Despite urgently needing to get going to make it to Norwood in time, the team didn’t miss the chance to talk to some of the farmers to make some “inquiries”.
Of course, Geelong deny any of these inquiries are relating to any attempt to weasel around burdensome salary cap limits to attract some of the finest talent in the game.
Hey, they just like farms!
