Government praises Collingwood’s commitment to working from home to ease fuel crisis

The Australian Government has praised Collingwood for doing what they want many Australians to do right now: work from home as much as possible.

In fact, in the upcoming few months, Collingwood only leave the G and a handful of times and even some of those “travel” rounds are just up the road to Marvel. Impressive.

The request comes as the greasy turd of Trump’s ill-thought-out war continues to clog to Strait of Hormuz and the oil supply chain dwindles. Or so they say…

A spokesperson for the Australian Government told The Times that Collingwood were selfless and brave, adding,

“This is a team that gets it. Think about how much fuel they are saving by not having to go to and from airports all month. That’s doing your bit. We also extend our thanks to the VFL for fully supporting Collingwood in their brave sacrifice”

Some in footy circles have even called for Collingwood to receive an Order of Australia medal for showing such leadership during such an uncertain time.

We spoke to a media personality who said while Collingwood deserved praise, Western Australian teams deserved condemnation for how much they insisted on travelling during this crisis.

We reached out to both the Eagles and the Dockers but they were too busy filling their team busses with diesel to respond. How unspeakably selfish.
