NASA Reveals Artemis Program Aims to Establish New Perth Suburb on Moon

Plans for the latest Perth suburb in the ever-expansive sprawl have moved one step closer after the successful launch of the Orion as part of the Artemis II mission today.

NASA has long told Perth that their current policy of sprawling lacked ambition and instead of trying to merge with Geraldton they should think a bit bigger – North Moondalup.

A spokesperson for NASA told The Times they wanted to put the new Perth suburb on the moon within a decade at a cost of about $80B dollars. Adding,

“Imagine how many Perth families will jump at the opportunity to live somewhere a quick 350,000km rocket to the CBD… It’s really the Perth suburban dream. So far we have a few shops signing on including one that sells cheap smokes and expensive American snacks”

Accordingly, several developers are trying to win the tender for North Moondalup which will offer the sort of isolation and lack of amenity that appeals so much to Perth families.

Naturally, the plan has put pressure on the Government to expand Metronet to put a station at North Moondalup. A source close to the Government said it didn’t intend for the new burbs to turn into another Ellenbrook. With a source telling The Times,

“The Government has learned a lot of lessons from the Ellenbrook experiment and yeah, too much isolation from the CBD just makes them turn a bit weird. We’re all dealing with the brunt of that now and it will not be repeated on our watch”

Well, finally.
