Nation’s dads form orderly queue outside MCG to explain how to mow grass properly

Hundreds of thousands of dads from all over the Nation have descended upon the MCG to form an orderly queue in anticipation of giving their two cents about how the 10mm of grass on the pitch should’ve been mowed.

With more wisdom than you can poke a cricket bat at, the MCG staff will no doubt be grateful for the opportunity to speak to every swinging dick in the lawn mowing scene.

The waves of advice coming crashing down on the shores of the MCG come after the spicy deck produced a 2 day test match farce. With many blaming the 10mm of grass for the unpredictability of the wicket.

We spoke to a dad who said he’d made the trip from Perth because he felt the young fellers could use some advice. Adding,

“Cutting grass is in my veins, not the Gary Lyon variety mind you. I’m just a man with a shithot lawn and I think they could benefit from my tips”

Another dad even brought a bit of WD-40 to make sure the MCG’s mower didn’t need a quick service. He told The Times,

“You’re lawn is only as good as your mowers maintenance, that’s what my dad told me and that’s what I’m going to tell these fellers when I get my turn at the front of the lawn”

Nation’s dads truly looking out for the MCG.
