Perth family offers living room to any businesses needing an emergency industrial freezer

A top bloke residing in the City of Swan has made an offer to any business affected by power outages that they may use his living room to store their frozen goods.

By his estimates, his living room is sitting pretty at about -18 degree celsius and has been approved by authorities for food storage purposes.

We spoke to the man who was currently moving food from his significantly warmer fridge to his coffee table. He told us,

“Yeah I can save a bit on my electricity bill by turning the fridge off for the week. Don’t need it, as it’s a freezer in my living room and both bedrooms are sitting pretty at around 2 degrees, so fridge is sorted too”

Many local businesses have reached out to the man thanking him as the ever looming threat of light drizzle could take out the entire grid and render their stored goods spoiled.

We spoke to a business who didn’t wish to be named who added,

“We had to get a load of ice cream in for a special event but honestly out this way, power outages are a way of life, we’ll certainly be taking him up on his offer, apparently we can have the main couch for storage”

What a good guy.
