Victorians to pay 10% more at State of Origin to ensure WA gets its fair share of GST

The Western Australian Government has spotted a prime opportunity to correct some mistakes in this country at the upcoming State of Origin AFL match at Perth Stadium.

All visiting Victorians will be required to pay an additional 10% on all goods & services while in Perth to make up what WA is rightfully owed.

This will extend to the ticket, accommodation and even the sauce on their pies, which they are lucky to be even enjoying in the great state of Westralia.

We spoke to a Victorian who said he wasn’t happy about the extra charge. Adding,

“Just because WA saved the AFL and has kept the Australian economy out of recession, I have to pay more? How about they pay me an extra 10% for having no culture! Their laneways don’t even smell half as much of piss as ours”

Naturally, one could ask how will people know that someone is Victorian for the purpose of adding the additional charge. A good question but answered by an expert,

“Well, if their clobber doesn’t give them away they would almost certainly expose themselves when they do something foolish like order a pot or a parma. They are so used to doing things wrong and being told they are liveable because of it that they don’t know how to change”

Indeed they will.
