“Thanks Warner“, is the sentiment going around Perth’s North today after Bunnings Mindarie was forced to place restrictions on the sale of sandpaper ahead of the South Africa v Australia test.
The move comes after local Saffas stripped the shelves bone dry so they could use the important hardware product to taint Aussie coworkers.
A source close to Bunnings told the Times,
“We had one Saffa come in and he told us that we must fill his trailer with as much sandpaper as we’ve got because he wanted to completely cover his Aussie mate’s workspace with sandpaper, these are not well adjusted people”
While humorous to the casual observer, the local chippies and handymen surrounding Mindarie are mildly pissed off because of the rations, however, one was diplomatic,
“We’re mostly English tradies up here so we can deal with the inconvenience as it’s to stir the cheating Aussies mugs up, an enemy of our enemy is our friend and that”
Sadly, we have brought this on ourselves.
