Collingwood is fuming after an official recount of the Copeland Trophy revealed that Matt Rowell was the rightful recipient of the award.
On the night, Darcy Moore won the accolade which sent the Wobblers into a full meltdown after the “little master” missed another award.
Alas, the recount didn’t do much to calm tensions. A source close to Collingwood told The Times,
“It’s an absolute disgrace! Nick’s dad was in tears over Darcy so imagine what he did when he found out Matt Rowell won! He plays for Gold Coast ffs!”
An internal investigation will be conducted as to how both Darcy and Matt polled so well given the clubs insistence their young Daicos deserves to be in the Hall of Fame after just a few seasons.
A source close to the Suns said Matty was a little confused but was going to chow down on a bit bowl or grass and Collingwood tears to celebrate.
