Dunsborough has long been hostile to the idea of a McDonalds franchise opening on their turf.
However, the fast food giant has managed to find the South West town’s weak spot after suggesting they call the business CapeDonalds or McNaturaliste.
An industry insider said that the average Dunsborough local releases 50ml of intimate fluids every time the word cape is brought up. Adding,
“There are certainly some within the Dunsborough community that think they haven’t gone hard enough on the whole cape thing, so even thought they despise the American Clown, they see it as another chance to remind people of their proximity to the Cape”
Another insider told The Times,
“Find yourself someone who looks at the word Cape like a Dunsy local does, that’s true love”
Construction of CapeDonalds is due to begin later in the year.
