Popstar Ed Sheeran has announced he will be returning to Perth in 2026 to check on the progress of the house & land package he bought back in 2023.
The singer was so smitten with the Butler lifestyle back in 2023 that he snapped up a lot in an up and coming estate. A source close to him told The Times,
“He said his limey-senses started tingling. He’d found his people. He’d found a place he could overinvest in and then whinge about the commute every day – in his words – the British way”
Alas, the wheels of construction don’t always turn fast in Western Australia and the power-ranga may be furious if he doesn’t have his little slice of paradise sorted.
We spoke to a Butler local who said Ed was probably going to be pretty pissed off. Adding,
“Well I hope big celebs like him enjoy living on a concrete slab mate, because that’s what he’s got”
There’s a small chance Ed won’t be pleased.
