Perth’s new fan dangled film studio has finally revealed its first production and in news that will delight Westralians, it begins this weekend.
The Gone with the Wind remake will cast local trampolines as the sloppy seconds from Cyclone Narelle bring powerful winds throughout the City.
They chose Perth to film the production because we are per capita the most negligent trampoline owners in the world. That’s something to write home about.
We spoke to a casting director who told The Times,
“This is going to be a great film. Such theatre. Such excitement. We don’t even need to pay trampoline owners because they are guaranteed to do their thing, that is to say, not take any steps to securing their children’s prized equipment during the storm”
The news is a tough blow for the all the haters who have delighted in questioning what the multimillion dollar facility was built for given its distinct lack of use.
Ironically, they are mostly the same people who’s negligence will be starring in the first film. As for plot, the studio says it will model the film on the original just with a lot more shit blowing around.
I think we can all agree it will be an absolute blockbuster.
