A home battery manufacturer has produced a special WA-centric product for all the Westralians thinking of switching over to the mundane, reliable word of storing your own juice.
The optional feature has been dubbed “Western Power Mode” and will cause your batter to cack its dacks in the event of sensors detecting light drizzle. A spokesperson told The Times,
“Naturally, the casing on the home battery does a good job of protecting against weather so we have installed some sensors that you can place anywhere outside to pick up light drizzle and then create a little blackout for you”
We spoke to a homeowner who was waiting for the Government rebates to come in before purchasing the battery but says he is very interested in this feature. Adding,
“Power blackouts caused by sweet fark all are a quintessential part of the WA experience and we don’t want to miss out on all of that. I don’t think I’ll have the feature switched on all the time just sometimes as a bit of a treat”
Fantastic news for all home battery enthusiasts.
