New Netflix series to be set in the South West in jeopardy after crew fail to bypass Bunbury

Netflix are seriously considering pulling the plug on their new TV series to be set in WA’s South West after the filming crew made a disastrous error.

The Netflix crew and lead actor Antony Starr flew into Perth International and then hastily made their journey Down South.

Alas, a local guide done them dirty and failed to navigate the somewhat perplexing Bunbury Bypass and in the process failed to bypass Bunbury. Uh oh!

We spoke to a witness on the scene who said after just 20 minutes parked in Bunbury their kit had been rolled and their production vans were on bricks. They added,

“Let’s just say Antony probably wished he was actually Homelander at that point. Those laser eyes would’ve come in real handy and perhaps he’d still have his wallet ha ha. They looked pretty terrified at the situation and kept yelling that they were heading back to the States”

However, a more adventurous location scout saw promise in the South West town. Speaking exclusively to The Times they said,

“You never know when a new Mad Max TV series could be on the cards and I think Withers would be a great choice. A lot of the crew are a bit traumatised after dealing with some Bunbarians but I see great potential!”

The crew is currently being assessed at a nearby hospital before they make the decision whether to continue on with this lark.
