SCG covers oval with Crocodile Miles to create a less slippery playing surface

The SCG has gone to great lengths to ensure their playing surface is more stable ahead of Fremantle’s clash this weekend.

To do so, they have found a substantially less slippery surface – Crocodile Miles – everyone’s favourite nostalgic backyard water game.

Compared to the SCG, the Crocodile Mile is basically sandpaper and all can agree will provide a far safer playing surface. An insider told The Times,

“We really don’t want people slipping over and copping catastrophic injuries, so this childhood slip & slide toy seems the obvious choice. You do NOT want to step on that grass”

The SCG had also looked into quicksand as an option but decided it would be cheaper just to go on eBay and get some old toys.
