West Coast Eagles to advise City of Nedlands on a successful rebuild

The WA Government has announced that the mighty West Coast Eagles will play a crucial role in advising the commisioners in rebuilding the City of Nedlands Council.

The entire Council was sensationally dismissed this week by the Minister for Local Government due to a spate of resignations which left the Council without quorum.

A source close to the WA Government told The Times,

“Clearly we need to consult the rebuild specialists to make sure we get Nedlands back on track. It’s hard to think of a professional organisation better suited to this task”

Some remain doubtful involving the Eagles is the right move. With one political & sporting analyst telling The Times that the Eagles rebuild wasn’t the best example. Adding,

“I mean it could be worse, you could get Carlton involved but yikes, did you actually want Nedlands to win anything here?”

Still, the WA Government feels this is the way to go.
