AC/DC concert receives noise complaints from residents in Two Rocks

AC/DC are not popular with Two Rocks NIMBYs after noise complaints streamed in as last night’s concert at Perth Stadium roared on.

Residents in Two Rocks said they were unable to rest every time the famously loud rock band belted out another classic. With one resident telling The Times,

“I’m sick of people saying that you shouldn’t move 70km next to an AC/DC concert and then complain about the noise! We were trying to stew in our juices over the demersal fishing ban and we couldn’t do so in peace!”

Accordingly, the concert promoters and Perth Stadium have been put on notice for the 2nd Perth show. With a spokesperson for the band telling The Times,

“We will look into readjusting our sound system to the good people of Two Rocks can get some rest. Lord knows they could use a bit of sleep”

It wasn’t just Two Rocks who were disturbed by the concert. However, residents in Rockingham were more thankful for the free entertainment. With one resident telling The Times,

“For the past 20 years I’ve got black out drunk on Thursdays nights listening to Acca Dacca so this was kind of business as usual for me”

Good stuff.
