New Thornlie to Cockburn line to provide special VIP carriage for Crestwood Estate Residents

Crestwood Estate residents will not have to rub shoulders with their lesser Thornlie comrades when the new Thornlie to Cockburn train line opens on Monday.

Residents from the fancy pants housing estate will be given special SmartRiders that will grant them access to the VIP carriage that will take them to Cockburn in comfort and style. On Monday, the lucky few will be greeted on arrival with BBQ Shapes and Passion Pop.

We spoke to an industry insider who told The Times it was about acknowledging the tale of Thornlie’s two cities. Adding,

“When one thinks of Thornlie traino, one might think – oh, I hope that guy staring my down on Spencer Road isn’t going to catch the train with me – especially if you’re a Crestwood Estate baller. This initiative is to encourage the aristocrats to catch the train”

One such Crestwoodian told The Times that they approved this measure. Adding,

“Just like I have access to a private community pool, I should have access to the VIP carriage. I can only hope the carpet is red and the Passion Pop is flowing!”

Not everyone is happy about the move. With some noting that their own housing prices have skyrocketed and say they should have access to a similar carriage to avoid people from Gosnells. With one commoner telling The Times,

“Gossies is always trying to get a slice of the Thornlie life and I don’t think I should be forced to rub shoulders with them on the train either! My house is worth $700k now where’s my special carriage!”

Food for thought.
