The parents of a young Perth boy have filled his small heart with hope after reassuring him that the Cockburn ARC waterslides would likely be open around the same time he can afford to enter the Perth property market.
Naturally, the parents wanted to manage the boy’s expectations given one of the slides has been out of action since 2022 and the other two since 2023.
We spoke to the parents who said he took the news really well. Adding,
“Some people think we lied to him which we technically didn’t, there’s no chance he’s going to get to do either of those things after all”
Nevertheless, some in the parent’s circle have questioned what they would do if the young feller learned the truth about the property market. They added,
“Well, I guess there is a chance he could be a footy player or crypto millionaire? There is a small bit of hope I guess”
One can only hope that the complex structural & operational review needed to be conducted on the waterslides happens quick.
