Productivity Summit hears WA’s trucking industry productivity skyrocketed after the Baysie Bridge was demolished

Western Australia, in true nation-saving form, delivered an impressive report concerning the productivity of its trucking sector.

According to reports, after the Bayswater Bridge was demolished as part of the Metronet project, the industry’s productivity skyrocketed by 1000%.

A source from within the Summit told The Times,

“A lot of ideas are flying around this roundtable but few had the impact that this report had. Basically, WA’s trucking industry is world class now thanks to one small change”

Based on the compelling evidence, Melbourne is reportedly considering swinging the wrecking ball at the infamous Montague Bridge which seems as hungry for steel scalps as ol Baysie was.

Naturally, WA conceded that the industry still faced significant obstacles in the form of the Sutherland St Bridge in West Perth.

Also, evidence of Dare iced coffee abuse concerned the Summit. With our source telling us,

“Their message is clear, how do we get Australians to stop chasing the brown dragon and do their job in a clear minded mental state, that’s a tough one”

More to come.
