Many Perth residents have gazed at The Ritz Carlton and wonder how it captured such a unique aesthetic charm.
Well, wonder no more, the hotel giant has revealed that they were going for a cross between the dilapidated East Perth power station and the charming smile of an average British gentleman with a penchant for Colgate dodgery.
A source close to the hotel told The Times,
“Let’s face it, the Brits love Perth and we wanted to build them something that would remind them of home. Everytime you look at the building you’re reminded of the heartwarming grin from a Brexit geeza who thinks dentistry is some kind of scam, innit”
The revelation is expected to increase the number of British guests and British OF stars wanting to give ol Bonnie a run for her money. We spoke to a holidaying Brith who told The Times,
“Why bother look after your teeth when all British cuisine is some type of mushy slop? We don’t need teeth innit so this building is beautiful”
This news is, of course, distressing to staff who will in turn have to deal with more British guests which can be rather challenging.
