The WA Government has made a brave call and decided to repurpose the Barrack Arch as a residential apartment block to service those most in need.
As we know, high end, luxury apartments are wanting in the great city of Perth and developers have been calling for change for years.
We spoke to a developer who said it was refreshing the WA Government was finally looking out for the real underdogs in this housing crisis – the millionaires. He told The Times,
“How’s a young nepo baby meant to get his start in the world of living well beyond what some little cunt deserves? These Barrack Arch apartments make a great starter pad for a little rich stain and can be flipped for several million in a few months”
Critics have hit back at the plan claiming that the Barrack Arch is an important historical building and should remain a tourist attraction.
The Government retorted that they understood history was important but those towers in Applecross are taking ages and something had to be done in the interim.
Expressions of interest are now open to buy one of the apartments which are described as small, affluent and not used to much use.
Sounds like the perfect metaphor for the peen of a nepo baby.
