Tesla has told Australian and New Zealand customers that the grotesque skip bin on wheels will not be rolling out in those respective nations.
While this may be disappointing to customers who put down a $150 deposit, Elon has assured them that they will be “well compensated”,
“Tesla acknowledges the frustration but on the other hand you won’t have to be seen in one and you may just retain the respect of your family & friends, so there’s a silver lining”
We spoke to a customer who said his wife being able to make eye contact with him again was probably better than owning the Cybertruck,
“We really haven’t got on very well since I joined the waiting list all those years ago, she said it was a ridiculous waste of money and would cause her great shame in our social circle, she welcomed the news”
Another customer said he was still gutted having “made his choice”,
“I chose the Cybertruck, I don’t care if society thinks I’m rocking a 5th degree dexie-dick at all times, maybe I do, so what?”
So true.
