Experts have finally got the bottom of why the birth rate in Perth has been steadily declining.
While some blame the pressures of life and the unknown future our kids will have, the answer actually lay in a premium breeding ground that was closed off to the public in 2022.
For the uninitiated, Zig Zag in the Perth Hills was closed due to Forrie and High Wycombe louts besmirching the good reputation of the hills and ripping single peggers on the scenic drive and doing nangs.
While it was a popular spot for hoons it was also a popular spot for young adults in the area to meet up for a late night rendezvous.
We spoke to a former hilldweller who said it was the HQ for stinky fingers and 10 second heros, adding,
“Zig Zags had a real energy and I reckon at least 3 of my kids come from that glorious spot, there’s no real way of knowing but”
Advocates for a higher birth rate have demanded the Council open Zig Zags while environmentalists who favour a slowed birth rate have applauded the move due to its unprecedented effectiveness.
Any way you look at it, Zig Zag is the key to sustainable population.
