Transperth has taken the public’s feedback on board from yesterdays calamitous events that left many Flagmantle fans stuck on trains rather than gliding gloriously towards the stadium.
To ensure the fans never miss a minute of the upcoming games, they have installed big screens on all trains so the punters can watch from the comfort of their immobile chariots.
A source close to Transperth told The Times,
“It’s about being practical at the end of the day, while we can’t guarantee we’ll get you there we can guarantee that you can see the game, and that’s pretty much just as good, right?”
To balance out the energy in the carriages, another screen will be set up for the “sportsball” types to lament having to catch a train with legions of purple fans.
Naturally, the service will extend to West Coast games, but they’ll have to secure a few more Thurs & Friday night primetimes before that will become much of an issue.
