Buddy Franklin has made the decision to rejoin the AFL as the thought of having to play against Gingin again vexes the legend.
Strapping up for Dowerin, Buddy copped the lot from Gingin as he the boys made sure not to squander their opportunity to give it to one of the most decorated stars to ever play the game.
As the footage shows, you’d probably have an easier time as a blow-in winning the meat raffle at the pub than Buddy had out there on the hallowed turf. With players so far up his arse they’d be spoiling corn kernels.
A source close to Buddy said that compared to country footy, AFL was a walk in the park. Adding,
“He essentially copped an entire team tag for the game, it’s no wonder Dowerin won because all the attention of the Gingin boys were on serving Buddy up a nice, traditional regional footy biff-burger with the lot, the way it should be”
To that end, Buddy will be strapping on his boots and lining up for West Coast today at the derby. Partly because compared to yesterday it will be like AusKick but also it’s probably the safest place he can be. with one insider saying,
“Look, Gingin can’t get him at Perth Stadium. There is security and all sorts of measures to stop that exact sort of thing. Buddy will be safe out there unless Voss decides to pick him up or rub his head”
We would like to extend a warm thanks to Gingin for getting this star back in the game.
