It appears the Eastern States finally have something to contribute to the Nation’s economy after becoming the largest producers of salt today after it was announced WA’s GST deal would remain unchanged.
The tears flowed thick and fast following the announcement and left the Eastern States with a sizable mineral deposit.
An Eastern State’s spokesperson told The Times,
“We thought our annual tanty was going to be successful this time because of that Productivity Commission Report but yeah it looks like the powers that be would prefer to keep Australia’s economy strong than give us handouts”
We understand the money the Eastern States can generate from the pure salt will be enough to cover several Commonwealth Games for other Nations.
That’s, of course, if they manage the resource properly which is unlikely given their inexperience at keeping the economy afloat.
One Eastern State (NSW) even cried so hard that they apparently turned several fresh water rivers completely saline. Our expert continued,
“Imagine being so cut you cause a catastrophic environmental disaster, claaaaasic NSW”
