Garden City, or Westfield Booragoon by its Government name, wasn’t about to let Galleria get all the attention this year with its revamp.
For those who remember, Garden City also promised its retailers and customers a brand spankin’ glow up and boy are they going to delvier.
A source close to Garvbo told The Times about the grand plan,
“Just quietly, I think this is going to blow Galleria out of the water, Garden City is going to put one of those wacky waving inflatable tube guys out the front, game over”
Sure, Galleria has a multi-million dollar face lift & new retailers but Garbo has the razzle dazzle.
We spoke to a retail expert who said those wacky tube guys were like crack to the consumer, adding,
“I mean just watch one flail chaotically in the breeze, it’s mesmerising, it’s says – hey come and spend half your weekly income at our shops, it’s a smart move, feel kinda sorry for Galleria now”
The gauntlet has been thrown down.
