Cries of joy have been heard all through New Zealand after they received news that their national tinnie carrying their entire fuel supply was finally let through the Strait of Hormuz this morning.
The tinnie’s time spent floating in the Strait has at times seen the cost of diesel in NZ rise to over 4 bucks *insert angry chur noises*.
It had indeed been a tough wait for New Zealand who were desperate to refuel their diesel-powered town fax machine to resume international correspondence.
We spoke to a Kiwi who said he was going down to the harbour to cheer on the mighty tinnie after its heroic journey. Adding,
“Chur bro, the whole turn will turn up for it, what a mean vessel ay, I reckon I can finally fill up my tractor now too! Which is perfect timing as its date night and I want to take my old lady out to our favourite paddock”
This is truly a funtastic day for our little brother. To celebrate, they will be sending over another million citizens to live in Australia.
Documenting the Human Zoo is thirsty work, so if you enjoyed what you read how about buying Belle a beer, ay?
