Donald Trump is absolutely furious that Socceroo Cam Burgess scored an own goal against America in the first half ot today’s game.
According to Trump, it’s just another example of a foreigner coming to the US and taking jobs from hard working American strikers.
Trump said in a statement supplied exclusively to The Times
“We have tremendous strikers in America. Tremendous. Some of the best people you’ll ever meet. Then Cam Burgess comes into our country, scores an own goal and suddenly he’s taking jobs, taking opportunities, taking everything. Frankly, I think ICE needs to have a look at what’s going on here”
Needless to say, Burgess can probably expect the hard knock on his door at some point today.
Back home however, the nation has rallied behind him and accept it was just a wrong place at the wrong time kinda deal.
