US demands WA reopen Liquids in Rockingham ahead of sailors arriving At HMAS Stirling

The United States has made an extraordinary demand of Western Australia ahead of nuclear submarine rotations at HMAS Stirling this year.

As part of the Submarine Rotational Force West Infrastructure Project, hundreds of US and UK sailors will come to Garden Island and as per tradition need a suitable venue to buy every man and his dog a drink.

Talking exclusively to The Times a US spokesperson said,

“We understand Freo used to be the go-to venue for US Sailors to go out looking to dip their wicks but given the men will be stationed closer to Rockingham we have identified a key strategic watering hole called Liquids for them to frequent, the only problem is it’s closed”

The US’ demand not only benefits sailors but the benefactors of those free drinks. With almost every Gen X/Millennial having received the sea’s bounty from the cashed up, bored seafarers in their life.

Western Australia has committed to resolving the issue, even going as far as conceding that it was a tragedy they let Liquids close on their watch.

A source close to the Department of Getting on It SOR told The Times,

“Liquids has left a stick stair-cared hole in all of our hearts. A void that now threatens to tear apart the AUKUS pact with the US. We know a lot of you want that to happen, but Australia insists on moving ahead with it”

The source also said that they are looking into a specific supply deal for Midori Illusion shakers to be sold at the reopened venue.

Happy days.
