In an exciting technological development, WA can almost proudly say it’s on par with 2017 South Australia as it prepares to roll out digital driver’s licences.
Trials for the optional digital licence will commence this year with the aim of rolling out the state-of-the-art technology by 2027.
This would only see us a decade behind the technological powerhouse of SA. Exciting times, as this tech expert told The Times,
“To stand side by side with a advanced civilisation like Radelaide is a true achievement. What’s next? We’ll learn how to dump a pie into some pea soup? The sky is the limit”
Others in the community have said the news of the digital driver’s licence has made them feel like they are living in an episode of the Jetsons. With one Perth luddite telling The Times,
“I reckon things are just happening too fast. Can we slow things down and maybe go back to the way things were? You know we used to get dressed up to go into the City on Sundays”
Naturally, the cooker community is having a complete meltdown over the fully optional concept.
However, by this stage they are just too far gone. There is no point trying to explain anything to them when they are too busy being suspicious of clouds.
