Western Australia has been blown away by the incredible number of offers coming from Colombian businessmen to help solve our brick shortage.
We spoke to a builder who said every time he answers his phone there’s a helpful Colombian on the other end,
“Mate, these guys want to sell bricks, I was a little shocked at the price per brick but given the shortage it actually seemed pretty comparable to WA these days”
Another builder said he had a nice feller called El Ladrillo come to his office,
“He said arcilla o plomo? Nice guy, he said his ‘arcilla’ was so strong it would blow my customers away, I thought, he really understands study bricks”
“I had to reject his offer as I’d already agreed to a shipment which was coming by submarine, how fancy! I did find it weird that after I turned him down El Ladrillo said he’d fix that rattle in my Hilux and was messing around under the hood for about 20 mins, sure it’s all normal in Colombia business meetings?”
Well, you know what they say, no one cares more about bricks getting delivered than the Colombians.
Also maybe don’t switch on your ignition.
