The AFL or VFL as it should be known has made the decision to replace all remaining round six fixtures with highlights from Nick Daicos’ 100th game.
In an embarrassingly close call to Carlton, the “little master” racked up a highlight reel that made the Fox Footy panel require immediate underwear intervention.
There wasn’t a dry set of grundies in sight as the “little genius” seagulled like it was Good Friday outside of Cisserellos. So the VFL has decided to reward the footy world.
Originally, the decision was made just to cancel the Western Derby at Perth Stadium however, the top brass has slept on it and decided to extend the mandate further.
One might question whether the broadcast partners are upset by the decision. Particularly Channel 7 who are unfortunately based in Western Australia.
Alas, they are completely fine with the VFL overhauling the fixtures because they know the AFL is itching to sell the broadcast rights to SportsBet and just need some subordination to motivate them to live their dream.
How fun for everyone. Can’t wait.
