French schools to teach kids about “Down South” to prepare them for their future

France has accepted that the life trajectory of many of their citizens is to finish school, backpack their way to WA and then endure the Margaret River hospitality scene for the promise of one day surfing the perfect wave.

Accordingly, schools in France will now teach children about the region and its culture. A spokesperson for the French education system told The Times,

“Basically, we want to prepare our citizens for the physical & mental battle of working a Down South season. Just endless complaints from Perth holidaymakers who think they own the region just because they spent a few thousand on an Airbnb. It’s not easy”

While half the course is theory, the other half is practical, with the French kids having to roleplay what its like serving an entitled LandCruiser key-clinking fuckwit while being simultaneously hungover, stoned and longing to get out into the surf before the wind shifts. We spoke to Louis who told us,

“In France, people treat wait staff with respect but during a Down South season we won’t be afforded this pleasantry, it’s very hard to apologise to Dunsborough blow-in for having the audacity of asking them to stop their children running into the kitchen, especially when the waves are pumping”

The initiative is a big step forward in regards to Australia: French relations after that bumbling imbecile ScoMo almost cooked it by reneging on the sub deal.

We understand that France was **this** close to cutting off the supply of French backpackers to Margaret River in retaliation.
