Rugby fans were left amazed and in need of new grundies after two Airlink planes performed a dangerously close flyover of DHL Stadium in Cape Town.
While no doubt impressive piloting, the stunt has been seen by some as an act of blatant reckless aviation. Naturally, Jetstar weren’t about to let Airlink have all the fun.
We understand that the following day Jetstar pulled off a little stunt of their own which left their passengers in a similar state of panicked excitement, a source told The Times,
“You wanna hear close? Jetstar came THIS close to not actually cancelling a flight and dogging its customers by trying to weasel out of giving refunds. Now that’s a close stunt”
We understand that the passengers thought they were actually going to depart to their destination up until the final minute before boarding.
Our source continued,
“Everyone thought wow, this is actually going to happen, and 1 minute before the announcement to start boarding the announcement came on, damn what a thrill ride”
The entire aviation industry is talking about Jetstar’s little stunt and the Saffas will have to try a bit harder to outdo that one.
