The first order of business for British outpost Secret Harbour is to break the shackles of what they feel is a bad deal as a member of the European Union.
The move comes after tension had simmered in the community for many years over issues such as red bins and immigration.
So when the by-election results were read out, it was pure elation on behalf of the heavily expat pom community.
We spoke to a geeza who said Secret Harbour was finally on the right track, adding,
“We want a State MP who can do suffin about all these jimmy grants, innit? We can ownwly fink the bwest way is to leave the EU and shut Secret Harbour borders”
It will be a massive undertaking and some worry about trade with surrounding localities. However, sources close to The New Republic of Secret Harbour say that won’t be an issue, adding,
“There could be some short-term pain but the thought of keeping Secret Harbour British, proper British, if you know what we mean, is too valuable”
