Imaginations have been running wild after ex-Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley was spotted in Freo’s coaching box last night for Flagyalup’s win over Naarm. Bucks has a relationship with Longy however some suspect there could be more to it.
Naturally, it’s all speculation at this stage however some Docker’s fans have been left wondering after reports Bucks was spotted slacklining in South Beach this morning. After being spoted chasing down some mung beans on South Tce.
Witnesses say he’d traded in traditional footwear for some beads and he was walking the strip looking for the best mung beans money could buy. A witness told The Times,
“Yeah, he was dishing out namastes to everyone and really vibing with the feel of the place. He said he just needed a quick soul-snack before he was spotted heading to a property inspection nearby”
Of course, it all could be a coincidence. Perhaps Buck’s just caught the red eye over for a little break in Perth. However, the seemingly special treatment he was given in Freo churned the rumour mill more. A local told The Times,
“As you may know they’ve cracked down on South Beach van campers. However, Bucks had his van there and not a single ranger was bothering him this morning. He completed a full drum circle in the morning sun and signed a few autographs while he was at it. Let’s just say he’s looking pretty comfy in Walyalup”
Bucks will probably deny the rumours however what he can’t deny is that he was spotted on his way down to Cockburn this morning. Stopping in at the shops and telling a couple of wayward youths on scooters to pull their heads in.
Welcome aboard Bucks. The evidence seems irrefutable.
