Music festivals in Australia have finally gotten around venue costs that can make the ventures prohibitively expensive.
Instead of booking a usual large outdoor park, music festival organisers have turned to already purpose-built locations – Chemist Warehouse.
An industry insider told The Times these chemist were perfect, adding,
“It’s got everything you need for a good festival, bright colours, loud sound system blasting you in the face and of course the pills, don’t forget the pills of every colour”
To make things better, Chemist Warehouse absolutely welcomes revellers who are likely to make impulse purchase on things like Vicks Inhalers, water and lollies to suck on.
We spoke to a seasoned campaigner who said his first festival at a Chemist Warehouse was a great experience, adding,
“Mate it was off chops, you can just go up to the lady at the back and they’ll give you pills, fark yeah son, I’m gurning off these multi vitamins”
This could just be the move that saves music festivals for generations to come.
