Perth Street Circuit to Replace V8 Supercars with EV Supercars for Grand Opening

Car racing fanatics are stoked after hearing the news that the Perth Street Circuit will kick off by showcasing the future of no-octane thrill rides for the grand opening.

The WA Government who previously denied pandering to the “bogan vote” have now turned around and served everyone living along the V8-belt what they crave on a platter.

WA told us in a statement supplied exclusively to The Times,

“We’re quietly confident the sort of people who are most excited about this racetrack are going to be excited about these EV supercars burning rubber and serenading the crowd with the sounds of computer-generated engine noises for safety reasons”

We spoke to a man from Kwinana who said he was especially interested in a proposed EV-burnout competition, adding,

“Yeah me fkn son Raptah and daughter Chevrolay are froffin’ this, the fkn engi-fkn-neering in an EV is the kootz mate, fark yeah, foiiiinally the Government listening to us out here”

We understand the move comes due to both listening to the fans and also fears over the cost of fuel rising due to a certain orange maniac being unable to finish what the started.

Good times ahead.
