Radiohead has confirmed Perth for their Australian tour. A location they haven’t been to since 1998.
In an exclusive interview with Perth’s only trusted media outlet the band said they had one thing on their minds,
“Mate, World Rally Championship, all the boys are jazzed for it, it’s still going right? Can’t imagine anyone pulling the pin on that grand spectacle!”
An awkward silence fell over the interview room.
Their look of excitement and the fact they included Perth on the tour motivated everyone in the room to just stay silent.
Alas, the frontman pressed,
“We can go to the WRC at Langley Park right? What’s a ticket worth these days?”
Jesus. Finally, we had the courage to inform them that the WRC shut up shop in Perth two decades ago.
Radiohead said they would be reviewing their tour details and for Perth to not get too excited.
Damn.
