Trump Blames WA’s upcoming Long Weekend For Latest Spike In Global Petrol Prices

Experts have warned that due to continuing tensions surrounding Trump’s pointless folly into the Middle East, Aussie drivers could be looking at an increase of 30c at the pump.

Calls for Trump to reimburse the World have begun growing louder however the defiant economic genius is pointing the finger at an unlikely source.

According to Trump the reason the cost of oil has soared globally is due to the petrol station industry taking the opportunity to do a little long weekend price gouging in Western Australia.

In a statement provided directly to The Times, Trump said,

“The petrol prices are going up, and people are asking why. I’ll tell you why: Western Australia has a tremendous long weekend coming up. Tremendous. It’s finally good weather, everyone’s going Douth, and Flagmantle could be in the Grand Final. Could be.

So you’ve got millions of people driving to Margaret River, Busselton, everywhere, putting petrol in their cars, tremendous amounts of petrol. Maybe billions of gallons.

I’ve never seen anything like it. You can’t have a long weekend like that, with Flagmantle potentially in the Grand Final, and expect global petrol prices not to go up. It’s basic economics. Very simple.”

Of course, any good lie is grounded in some facts.

It cannot be disputed that this is exactly the kind of scumbag play a petrol company would pull. Alas, they’ve been handed the ultimate excuse by the Orange King. With one insider telling us,

“Yeah, how’s the Strait of Hormuz looking? Still closed ay, yep, there’s your answer, that’s why you’re looking up EVs right now, don’t be fooled by his rhetoric”

Well said.
