President Trump’s credentials as a master negotiator have taken yet another blow after his Iran peace deal and his NOR-SOR peace deal fell apart on the same day.
Several times over the last few months, Trump claimed he had brokered a historic peace deal between NOR and SOR. It was a bold claim as most pundits felt it could never be done.
Alas, no sooner than the ink had dried the deal was in tatters as merging operation once again blocked the Strait of Swan. Causing massive City wide economic hardship.
In the words of Trump,
“We had a tremendous peace deal. The greatest NOR-SOR peace deal anybody has ever seen. People were amazed. Frankly, they said it was impossible. NOR and SOR have been fighting forever. Nobody thought it could be done. We got it done. Then, all of a sudden, somebody closes the Strait of Swan. Can you believe it? Five minutes. Not even five hours, five minutes. The whole thing falls apart. A total disaster. Very disappointing. Sad!”
For now, it’s not knowable when the Strait of Swan will reopen and what retaliatory actions Trump will take for being made to look like a goose on the global stage once again.
Some in the know worry that Trump will take his anger out on SOR and send them back to the stone age.
Which admittedly, isn’t that big a leap for the SOR people, who are thought to be living somewhere in the bronze age.
