Umpires Call for Score Review on 2018 Dom Sheed Grand Final Goal

The AFL world has been sent into shock today after the umpires called for a review of the Dom Sheed’s grand final goal some 8 years after the fact.

Upon reviewing the famous goal, ARC decided there was insufficient evidence to say it went through and as a result the goal is not valid.

With apparently no evidence of the ball going through the sticks, it will have to be nullified and declared no score, thus the 2018 GF will be awarded to Collingwood.

It’s a baffling decision and it comes after another absolute howler today, also against West Coast in the game against the Saints.

In that decision, Rowan Marshall’s mark over the goal line was reviewed 90 seconds later and the mark was wrongly paid on review.

Said decision resulted in a goal and some say that’s the only reason the Eagles lost against the Sainters. Although some are more grounded in reality. However, this wasn’t the outrage of the day

Its quite incredible two delayed ARC decisions have fucked over the Eagles today but that’s the AFL these days.

Accordingly, Eagles fans have demanded the Leo Barry mark be reviewed in the 2005 Grand Final due to Sampi clearly being held. How about that VFL?

Farcical indeed.
