The passengers from the ill-fated hantavirus cruise will fly into Perth tomorrow at the Netherlands unceremoniously told them to “rot op” or get the fark off their lawn, in English.
The plan is now for the passengers to fly into the RAAF Base in Pearce and be transported to the nearby Bullsbrook Quarantine Facility.
In a perfect world, the journey would take about 10 minutes, but this is not a perfect world. This is a world where light drizzle is forecast on Perth roads tomorrow.
Therefore, the new plan is for the passengers to complete their entire 3-week quarantine stuck in Perth traffic. We spoke to the ADF who told The Times,
“We understand that come hell or highwater nothing is getting Perth traffic moving after a little drizzle. Which is surprising given how remote this particular area is. We are informed that that doesn’t matter and every road will be clogged like Clive Palmer’s toilet on boxing day”
The passengers might be tempted to complain however at least the original plan to have them at Galleria for the 3 weeks has fallen through.
They were spared that rollercoaster of fun, at least.
