The Netflix production of Breakers has hit a snag while filming in Perth’s very own Baldives. While on location, all the gear got swallowed up in a classic Baldivis sinkhole.
Antony Starr aka Homelander was seen walking around the sinkhole muttering “why the fuck did we decide to film in Badivis!” A sentiment echoed by his crew who said some crusty Baldivian locals even tried to warn them.
We spoke to one such crust-lord who said there was always a good chance of a sinkhole after a bitta rain in the area. Adding,
“Ay Hollywood big shots, not so big now ay ha ha ha, you just got Baldived, BIG TIME”
At first glance, Netflix is down several hundreds of thousands of dollars and may decide to call off the production if Baldivis throws one more fkn thing at them.
The crew worked throughout the day to free their shit from the cavernous, moist pit of despair while planning their next move to sunny Warnbro.
An insider told The Times that they were quietly confident they wouldn’t have any trouble as they moved ever closer to Rockingham.
Good luck Homelander.
Documenting the Human Zoo is thirsty work, so if you enjoyed what you read how about buying Belle a beer, ay?
