News broke today of a dual WA and Australia Government commitment to a pre-feasibillity study for an oil refinery in Karratha.
Understandably, a lot of people have been asking where the actual oil will come from to supply said refinery.
Well, the Goverment has ended the speculation with a statement given directly to The Times,
“The oil will be sourced from the most reliable and plentiful supplier in the region – the beards from truckies coming off a 12 hour run eating nothing but crumbed chicken & cheese sausages”
Under the offtake agreement, the refinery will be able to produce enough fuel every day to handle Australia’s needs for a decade.
We spoke to a potential supplier who said he was 8 sausages down and it wasn’t even smoke yet. Adding,
“I can get good money for this grease normally I just let it drip down so I can have a road wank”
The less we hear about this supply chain the better, it would seem.
